I grew up in beautiful Brown County, Indiana – home to a famous artist colony. I’ve loved drawing and coloring since I was little and just never gave it up. I started with traditional media, preferring colored pencils and oil pastels. While I still mix it up with traditional media, I do a lot of digital painting these days. I primarily create battlemaps and assets for fantasy, modern and sci-fi TTRPGs. Every so often I make other stuff, too. 

I’ve been into art only slightly longer than I’ve been into games. I love playing games – TTRPGs, board games and video games. My family played lots of board games and I started playing DnD when I was a kid. These days I play many different TTRPGs – there’s so many choices now! Shadowrun, Star Trek Adventures and Feng Shui are my favorites. I also still play a ton of video games and board games. 

Aqualeiya was a character I played in a DnD campaign many years ago. I started using the name in other places like World of Warcraft, Twitter and so on. It makes sense to keep the tradition alive as I post my work. My SO suggested I combine my passion for art and love of games to make TTRPG battlemaps. And here we are!
